Gregory Rosen, Founder & Principal - Greg is a 20-year renewables finance veteran and strategist who has developed or financed more than $400 million worth of residential, commercial and utility solar projects. He has worked with a variety of companies and non-profit organizations to craft and raise scalable, community-friendly financing for clean energy initiatives in both the US and the developing world. Prior to HNA, Mr. Rosen was Chief Investment Officer and EVP of Business Development at Powerhive, where he raised funds for portfolios of solar microgrids for unelectrified areas of western Kenya, and he played a key role in raising $20 million for those efforts from a combination of venture capital, corporate and impact investors. Prior to that, Mr. Rosen served as the first Chief Investment Officer at Mosaic where he originated solar loans and raised a $100 million fund from a reinsurance company as well as funding from thousands of individual investors. Prior to Mosaic, Mr. Rosen served as Vice President of Solar Finance at Union Bank where he originated and closed tax equity and syndicated solar loan transactions. He has also raised and managed a tax equity fund for Citi Community Capital, and held various other positions in finance and investment banking, including several years at PowerLight and SunPower Corporations where he co-developed and financed many industry-leading solar projects including the first $100 million solar project in the US at Nellis Air Force Base. Mr. Rosen holds both a Bachelors and Masters Degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
